To All Clients and Friends,
We hope everyone is managing through this crisis as best they can and we wish everyone and their families good health. As a CPA firm we have been deemed essential by Governor Baker and his Administration (I do know that sounds a little crazy). As such we continue to operate as we have for probably the last ten days. We have state of the art technology and security that allows us to correspond and transmit data with our clients to continue to meet your needs. Our office remains open but we are not accepting visitors. Approximately 25% of our firm is working in the office and others are working remotely. We believe all of our commercial/corporate work can be handled electronically as well as a majority of our individual tax work. For those individuals who provide us with manual documents we have set up a drop box in our third floor lobby off of the elevators. Your packages can be dropped there and you do not have to interact with anybody on our staff as we are doing this for everyone’s protection and following guidelines established by our federal and state government.
We realize that working remotely is not as efficient as our normal work environment but we are trying to meet our clients’ needs as best we can. Please feel free to communicate to any of the Stowe & Degon staff that you normally deal with through email or phone calls. Phone extensions in the office are forwarded to cell phones for those working remotely. We will do our best to serve you as we normally do in this environment that is changing every day and we will communicate any changes on our end. Thank you and good health.
Mike
